About "Two-Stepping On Their Toes"
When learning any type of partner dance, stepping on your partner's toes is an easy mistake to make. But rather than considering this as a mistake that needs to be fixed, I wanted to consider the implications of this on the rhythms of the dance itself. So my goal through this piece is to explore the idea of a country-western two-step with some added-in wonky rhythms to represent this concept. Hence: Two-Stepping On Their Toes.
